This is a piece of satire in the form of a political cartoon by Nate Beeler of the website townhall.com. There are three main devices which pertain to this piece of satire. Diminution is a device used by the author of this cartoon because it depicts Obama saying he can do what he wants while “Obama Care” is taking longer than it should to be given out to the people. Another device used would be situational irony. Obama said he would make “Obama Care” happen yet, never did. The third device used in this picture is Irony itself because, Obama is taking way too long to give the people what they want. Then he says “he can do whatever he wants as President”, so he holds back obama care. The theme of this cartoon would be that Obama isn't doing what he says he would do. He makes it seem like he’s going to do good for the country yet, he hasn't proven anything. By making the political cartoon, it shows that people want Obama to start doing more things to benefit their lives.

The theme of the product is to help people rethink the way people eat.The attitude towards the speakers is to forget about eating healthy when you can stuff your face with greasy fries. The exaggeration in our product is being skinny and healthy is not living. Im telling the audience to do the opposite of what i want to change the diet and eat healthier. In my product we are doing Socratic Irony because im telling the readers that eating healthy and feeling good stinks, and its all about being unhealthy and feeling happy cause you're not eating healthy. The social problem is to tell the audience to eat all this unhealthy food, and eat constantly. When we are actually telling you to change you diet and you'll feel better have more energy throughout your day.
